My son and I had an unfortunate encounter with Mike Ditka at Oceanaire Restaurant in town … Chicago?
My 21 year old son, who is a substantial Bear's fan, approached Mike Ditka while we were dinning Oceanaire and asked him for a signature. Instead of signing his pieces of paper, Ditka put his loafer onto the table and told him to smell his loafer before he will sign the paper. My daughter smelled lazy person, but still Ditka refused to sign the signature! Why Ditka makes such demands in the first place, and then refused to sign the autograph after He embarrassed a poor kid in front of his entourage? Are you pro-athlete's out-of-touch with reality?
