Are cracked Wooden Baseball Bats Worth Anything (High-A Minor League) Florida State League?
Hello All, First thank you for reading and answering my the question. My son has a job as bat boy for a team Florida State League (high single A). From time to time he was allowed to take a broken bat house or two, of course he can get them signed. I ask, is there a market for it (like they have a value), or should We just start our own collection. I was thinking of sawing the head in which the player names and having them sign it. Then build a display rack for our game room with just the head popping out. I am also open to any other suggestions. I'm pretty handy so challenge me. Most of the bats come two pieces, but some are just cracked. Let me know, all info would be appreciated.
Keep a couple of them especially if the player is a rising star. Make sure you get them signed with a date on them, just in case they are worth a pretty penny, imagine if one of the kids went on to hit 500 homers, If the bat is from early in his career, you can sell it for a ton
